Years of business have taught Bill Lane one important fact; satisfy the customer from start to finish. Having successfully developed land for more than 40 years, Bill saw the opportunity to “finish” the job with his clients and offer custom built homes.
Timed with the completion of home sites on his 18-hole, USGA spec-built golf course, he formed Lane Tree Development Co., Inc., a residential contracting company. Mr. Lane teamed up with Mike Kelly, a contractor with 25 years experience in constructing and refurbishing quality, custom built homes.
Mike and Bill can walk the customer through the process from start to finish. Whether choosing the right lot for their needs or tending to the intricate details of building their dream home, every facet of new home construction can be handled through Lane Tree Development Company.
Mr. Lane’s business experience extends beyond the subdivision development and the golf course. He has been an owner/manager of a John Deere Dealership, Quality Farms, Inc., since 1967, develops commercial property through 70 Commercial Park, LLC and owns one of the largest wildlife habitats in Eastern North Carolina, Mill Creek Farms, a 2000+ acre tract bordering the Neuse River in Johnston County.
